Cold Hands, Warm Hearts Swap

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm not doing a Pinterest post this week because I am going to show off my very awesome package that I got from the Cold Hands, Warm Hearts Swap.

When I started my little blog, not too long ago, I already followed a few blogs that are written by some friends of mine. One of those lovely friends is Ilene, from Much Love, Illy. I saw that she was hosting this fun swap and decided to join up! I was paired with Emily over at Practically Pink and we each went to work preparing a package of goodies.

I had a lot of fun coming up with things to put in her package, and she did the same. Here is what I received from sweet Emily [sorry for the terrible iPhone pictures, my camera was broken when I received it!]

Look at all that fun orange and green stuff!

These mittens rock! They are my favorite shade of green and they are so warm and cute! I can't wait to wear them [it's been a little on the warm side for Chicago winter so far...don't worry, it's coming].

There's a close up of all my goodies! I love the green and orange headbands - I've already gotten some use out of them.

This little gift was one of my favorite parts [besides the perfect mittens] because, as you know, I just started to develop my sewing abilities. This mason jar is full of thread, ribbon, needles, and other useful things that I will be sure to put to work in upcoming projects.

This Cold Hands, Warm Hearts Swap was such a fun experience, and I will definitely participate if I have the opportunity to in the future!

Thanks Emily, my swap buddy, and Ilene and Sandy for hosting such a fun event!

  3. Gosh, I think I was like a week too late of a follower to know about this from much love, illy because I would have totally been on board. I was super jealous when she had the linkup party the other day and I didn't know anything about it. If she doesn't host one next year and we are the top bloggers we aim to be (which duh, will happen) we should co-host. :]
