Pinterest Thursday - Button Monogram

Happy Thursday! I'm back to a Pinterest-inspired project this week. Recently I went to a baby shower for a friend of mine. We are crafting buddies so I thought it was appropriate to make something for her sweet baby girl for the shower.

There are several pictures of this floating around of Pinterest, but here's one of them (from this Etsy Shop):


Instead of canvas, I bought two really cute picture frames for $5 total (on clearance). I took the glass out, layered some scrapbook paper, and then used my Cricut to cut out the letters as a base for the buttons. The name they picked is Nora Jean [adorable], so I did her initials. I used hot glue and did one layer of the buttons, fitting them where I could, and then I glued buttons on top of those to fill in any bare spots.

Here's what I ended up with:





I really love how this turned out! The frames are perfect, and they were so cheap. This is so cute that I might try it again for someone else!
